Very easy to drink, not quite as good as Montana but still very good

"I guess you could say that wine is in my blood. I grew up on the family vineyard and winery alongside my siblings who now also work in the family business. My mother and father pioneered modern wine-grape growing in the South Island of NZ. This was back in the early 70s when as a young couple they were told Nelson was too far south and that grapes would only ever be viable in the North Island of NZ. Now, 35 years plus later, the South Island of NZ produces the vast majority of NZ wine! Quite a remarkable turnaround in such a brief time!
I'm delighted that I've managed to stike a balance between my main career (Dentisty), and my passion, winemaking."

I'm really sorry to say this wine was a disappointment to us. NZ Sauvignons are usually so good. This was too acidic and not really up to the standards we expect. Thumbs down!

Sharp, acidic and an undesirable after taste

This wine didn't work for me. I found it too sharp and acidic, it also left an undesirable after taste. Shame, because it was the only one in the 2011 Christmas Classic Case which disappointed.
